The firepower of these rifles is impeccable. The range of this deadly machine gun is 600 meters. According to sources, their purchase was approved recently in a high level meeting of the Defense Ministry. These rifles will be given to soldiers deployed in anti-terrorism operations and on the front lines of war.

These modern guns are considered deadlier than INSAS and old AK 47. Receiving their consignment amid the long-running standoff on the China border is being said to be an important step taken to strengthen the Indian Army. \A lot of work is being done in Amethi under the Made in India campaign. India had purchased 72400 caliber assault rifles made in America four years ago. Which are being used from Kashmir to the border of China and the maritime border of the country. Of these, 66400 were given to the Army,

 4000 to the Air Force and 2000 to the Navy. The Sig Sauer SIG716 7.62x51 mm assault rifles replaced the older, Indian-made 5.56x45 mm INSAS rifles. The deal to buy 72,400 Sig Sauer rifles was the biggest deal in recent years. The Indian Army had been trying to purchase modern rifles for almost a decade. Which got success 4 years ago.
